The project

“Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.” quoted by Rumi, famous philosopher, inspires our project partnership as it focuses on cultural interaction via traditional dances and music. We think music is  universal and we aim to unify different cultures and traditions  via  music.
We want to take part in this  project  because we  want to give our students the possibility to identify themselves with the way of European thinking. We want our students to meet and know different cultures, customs and peeople.Meanwhile we have a plentiful and beautifull culture and we can show it to our partners. We can learn and share our ideas by exchanging  our thoughts.
On the other hand,we want our students to improve their own skills and abilities. We are sure this project will be an opportınıty for improvinng their self-confidence. With the activities, the students will learn to be aware of the beauties of their traditional music, dances and customs.
Moreover, the students with disorders or problem, will be able to participate in the same activities that the rest, but with adaptations to their possibilities:
- listen music of the dances
- dancing
- paint dance scenes
- writing about dances.
They will appreciate the customs and dances of other countries. They will learn that we are different  and the same  at the  same time. We like laughing,  communicating, interacting, singing and of course dancing. This partnership will be the unique way to explore and meet European peers not only with words but the rhythm of notes while dancing.
